Sailaway Boats
The Virgo range of Starline Marine Sailaway Boats offers those of you that are competent in such things as carpentry, electrical and plumbing installations the opportunity to acquire a part completed boat for completion by you. The boats when completed are equally suited to both leisure cruising or for those wishing to live aboard.
When you choose a Starline Virgo Sailaway craft then our design staff works with you to produce a design for the finished boat. As well as providing a useful tool for your completion of the boat this also enables us to locate equipment such as lights, switches cable tails etc. in the correct location for your subsequent work.
They are available in a range of sizes from lengths of 40ft to 60ft and beams from the standard narrow boat beam of 6ft 10ins through to 12ft 0ins. They are completed to a selection of 3 stages enabling you to choose the level of work that you wish to undertake to complete your boat. There are also a wide range of additional items available to compliment these primary completion levels as optional extras to enable you to have specific areas completed that you may not feel fully competent in or to enable the build time for your project to be reduced. All of our boats conform to the Recreational Craft Directives and have the diesel tank pressure tested.
All craft are supplied with an engine from the E P Barrus Shanks or Shire range (subject to boat size) as standard with PRM gearboxes ensuring long and trouble free cruising.
